Families Free is seeking assistance to expand its services and increase its effectiveness through providing mentors and post-release case management services for the women in our programs, as well as, for their children and caregivers. Adding these wrap-around services has been proven to reduce recidivism upon release.

• Welcome Home Baskets!

The following items are needed for our "Welcome Home" baskets to be given to each Community Return participant once they leave prison:
- Laundry basket, laundry soap
- Shower curtain & rings
- Paper plates & cups, plastic utentials
- Dish soap, Clorox wipes
- Paper towels/napkins
- Day planner (with address book)
- Journal, bill organizer
- Toilet brush, toilet paper
- Sponges
- Clock and batteries

• Volunteer Your Skills!

We're looking for professionals interested in using their skills in volunteer opportunities! In order to ease the transition from prison to home for our Community Return participants, we would like to provide the following services:
- Full health physical
- Dental cleaning
- Female health exam
- Assistance in attending drug rehab support meetings (transportation, etc.)
- Hair care: a professional shampoo, cut, and style
- Basic manicure and pedicure
- Access to professional clothing (for job interviews)
- Mentor support
- Nutritional counseling
- Physical fitness counseling
